Until Version 2, Presto had not been a formally versioned software product. This has prevented a simple upgrade plan, but it has been beneficial in allowing our company to pass Presto through a greater level of experimentation. Many of our past projects brought a challenge to try a modified Presto solution on, and it is the best of these solutions that Presto now embodies. We feel that for those clients with past versions of Presto that need to be upgraded, our lessons of the past few years offer them a greater return in benefits now. Presto is now a mature product, and in a position to reap the benefits that version brings.
